The original logo unites the Haus name – Modern Creation München – with the laurel leaf, a global symbol of victory, valor, and honor. Originally hand-drawn as a tribute to our Bavarian origins, this mark has served as the brand’s distinguishing identity since 1976, defined by nine leaves on the left and eight on the right.
50 years of excellence and beyond
Marking its milestone anniversary in 2026, the Haus launches a year-long celebration of craft and heritage, connecting communities through zeitgeist moments and culminating ceremoniously in the place that started it all: Munich. In celebration of this landmark year, MCM proudly unveils its 50th anniversary logo.

Visetos: An Enduring Icon
Born alongside the brand itself, MCM's signature motif – Visetos – quickly became a global phenomenon. Presented in various colorways on durable Italian coated canvas, its most iconic version features the black MCM logo and Bavarian flag-inspired diamonds set against a Cognac base.

Beyond these cultural touchpoints, MCM has also created unforgettable moments across fashion and entertainment, including a collaboration with Lindsay Lohan for Crocs and the creation of a custom MCM bodysuit worn by Beyoncé in her iconic 2018 APES––T music video.
